About

Serving builders of new construction single-family homes.

With every client, our goal is to make the engineering process as easy as possible, so relationships are at the foundation of everything we do.

The more we know about you and your business, the easier it is for us to support your needs. We’re thankful for the local builders who choose us as partners for their structural engineering needs.

Anne Anderson Principal Partner | P.E., S.E.Anne Anderson

Principal Partner  |  P.E., S.E.

Anne is the daughter of a builder.  Growing up around her dad’s steel fabrication shop and assisting in many home-building projects, structural engineering was a natural choice.  After graduating from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, she accepted a position at Moffatt Nichol and Bonney, a structural engineering firm with deep roots in the Portland Area.  While working for MNB, Anne obtained her Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Portland State University and became an Associate of the firm.

After several years working in the commercial sector, Anne established Anderson Structural Engineering in 2000, which focused on the residential market.  Sought-after in the field, she developed a client list that included many prestigious local SW Washington home builders.

Anne is an active member of the International Code Council and the National Association of Home Builders where she serves on several building code committees.

Anne Anderson Principal Partner | P.E., S.E.Corina Muntean

Principal Partner  |   P.E.

Corina always thought she would be a lawyer but changed her mind in the first year of college switching her major from History to Civil Engineering.  Her older brother, who was an engineering major, convinced her that she would be more fulfilled in a challenging and history-making career.

Corina graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and has over 25 years of experience providing structural engineering services in the Portland – Vancouver market.  She has worked for several firms where she engineered projects including schools, churches, and light commercial buildings.

Corina developed a passion for wood design early in her career and found her niche in complex residential design.  She started her own firm Corina Muntean P.E., Inc, in 2004.

Corina and Anne met and became friends while they were both attending Portland State University.  They have worked together over the years, working at the same company early on and later consulting to each other’s own businesses.   With the growth of each of their companies they decided to join forces in 2016 to form Green Mountain Structural Engineering.
